WHAT do I need to buy?
Shin Guards are required by all players during games and practice.  Cleats are highly recommended as they help to keep the players safe (prevents slipping and falls).

AYSO provides: Jersey, Shorts & Socks.

WHAT team is my child on?
In July your child will be assigned to a team determined by age. There are NO accommodations for a specific coach or friends on the same team. – Balanced Teams are the goal.

WHAT's SoccerFest?
It's Opening Weekend of the Season! A Parade Friday Evening with a Banner Contest.  Saturday Games include Hot Dog and drink for the players. Check our calendar for dates and times or the game schedules for when your team plays.

WHEN does the season begin?
Normally the season starts the first weekend after Labor Day with the Soccerfest Parade on Friday night and games be on Saturday.   U19 & U16 teams may start in late August. The season normally runs for 10 or 11 weeks based on the schedule for the team.

WHEN are team pictures?
Team & Individual pictures are taken in September and early October (on a Saturday to be announced by your Coach).  They are also included on the team schedules provide.

WHEN will practice start?
Coaches call Players from Late July to Early Augus. Your Coach will have their own practice schedule and location, AND will answer many questions. Practice USUALLY begins ON or AFTER August 1st.

AFTER August 1st and still no word from a Coach?
Don't panic. Other teams may have started, but many have not. Younger teams often begin practice later. If you are not contacted by mid August, you may leave a message at 873-AYSO.

WHERE are games played?
Divisions U6 to U10: games are at Crestmoor Fields (Top of Courtland Drive in San Bruno).
Divisions U12 home games are also at Crestmoor Lower Fields but play in "area play" (Daly City, Pacifica, Brisbane, Millbrae).  (Area 2B fields)

Divisions U14 plays home games at Parkside but play in "area play" (Daly City, Pacifica, Brisbane, Millbrae).  (Area 2B fields)

Divisions U16 & U19 plays home games at Parkside & Crestmoor Upper Fields but play in 2N/2B League which plays from Pacifica/Daly City to Redwood City.

WHEN is it too late to register?
Late registrants will be put on a waiting list and be placed at the discretion of the Commissioner, Registrar, and Coach Administrator. Early Registration begins in April for Volunteers and May for everyone else ending after the first weekend in June.  Regular registration begins after that and goes until the seaons begins space available.
